Mostly sunny skies and seasonal temperatures were in place across
central and eastern Kansas today. Late afternoon temperatures 
were generally around 80 degrees across the area.

Chances for showers and storms will increase tonight across
western Kansas along with western Nebraska, as a series of upper 
level waves move out of the Rockies. For Thursday, a cold front 
will sag down into the Plains and will provide high shower and 
storm chances across western and central Kansas, along with central
and eastern Nebraska. Western Oklahoma will also have fairly high
rainfall chances on Thursday. Widespread severe storms are not 
expected with the activity tonight or Thursday.

Overnight lows are expected to be in the 50s across the region.
Look for highs on Thursday to range from the upper 60s across
western Nebraska, to the low 80s from eastern Kansas into Missouri.
